Quarried in the Mendips

S. Morris can supply quality limestone aggregates from our sister company for use in a wide variety of applications including building materials, ready mixed concrete, road construction and surfacing, and other construction, industrial and agricultural areas.

Morris & Perry's Gurney Slade site in the East Mendip Hills quarries and processes several hundred thousand tonnes of aggregate each year. The carboniferous limestone rock is extracted and processed to meet the most rigorous specifications whilst minimising both local and global environmental impacts.

First in the South West for ISO 14001

Morris & Perry's Gurney Slade quarry was the first in the South West region to receive ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification, for its endeavours to continuously reduce the associated environmental impacts.
